Overview[]

There are various words and acronyms used in Shimlar, and this is helpful guide to understand them.

  • Weapons - Classified as Sword, Axe, Staff, Mace, Bow, Arrow, Shield, Claw
  • Spells - Classified as Fire, Cold, Air/Lightning, Earth, Drain, Arcane
  • Item Class (IC) - Applies a damage buff to any weapon or spell.
  • Weapon Class (WC) - Applies a damage buff to only weapons
  • Spell Class (SC) - Applies a damage buff to only spells
  • Hit Chance (HC) - Applies an accuracy buff to any weapon or spell.
  • Weapon Hit Chance (WHC) - Applies an accuracy buff to only weapons.
  • Spell Hit Chance (SHC) - Applies an accuracy buff to only spells.
  • Armor Class (AC) - Applies a damage reduction buff to armor.
  • STR - Strength, one of the core attributes of the game that increases the damage of weapons
  • DEX - Dexterity, one of the core attributes of the game that increases the accuracy of weapons
  • NTL - Intelligence, one of the core attributes of the game that increases the damage of spells
  • WIS - Wisdom, of the core attributes of the game that increases the accuracy of spells
  • VIT - Vitality, one of the core attributes of the game that increases your health pool.
  • HEALTH - One of the core attributes of the game that is your current Health before death. Same value as VIT unless you're a Vampire.
  • Critical Hit Chance - On hit, percentage chance to perform more damage than usual.
  • Critical Hit Damage - On hit, increases your damage of a critical hit.
  • Enemy Hit Chance - On hit, decreases the chance an enemy lands a blow.
  • Resource Drop Chance - On kill, increases chance to drop one of the 9 resources of the game (dependent on zone).
  • Right Hand (RH) - Slot for a primary weapon.
  • Left Hand (LH) - Slot for a secondary weapon.
  • Spell One (SO) - Slot for a primary spell.
  • Spell Two (ST) - Slot for a secondary spell.
  • Damage Multiplier (DM) - Exclusive to werewolfs, basically acts as a damage bonus similar to crits although not as strong as increasing your IC.
  • Double Hit(DH) - Hit the enemy more often, possibly triggering a double hit mastery.
  • Bonus Time (BT) - Game multipliers that speed up Exp, Gold, Masteries, Gem Drops, Shadow Drops, Conquest Drops, Resource Drops, and Purse Drops that apply to all players.
  • Personal Bonus Time (PBT) - Game multipliers that speed up Exp, Gold, Masteries, Gem Drops, Shadow Drops, Conquest Drops, Resource Drops, and Purse Drops that only applies to your character, with restrictions and limitations. More information here.
  • Drop Chance (DC) - Increases your chances of dropping a gem, shadow, purse, clan mine, and resource drops on kill.
  • Random Drop Chance (RDC) - Increases your chances of dropping one of either a gem, shadow, purse, clan mine, or resource drop on kill.
