Overview[]

So you're playing the game and dropping a bunch of shadows that you don't need. What do you do with them? Well, you can smash them for gold, sell them to other players, or you can smash them for fusion pieces, which is always your best bet! You do this at the Fusion Machine, located in 2,7 Lair of Temptation.

Fusion Pieces are:

  • Required for fusing gems together to make re-roll or make specific gems.
  • Requires to upgrade your gear to Ancestral and Godly tiers.
  • Not tradable.

The Fusion Machine has a few features other than simply smashing your shadows for fusion points, which will be covered here.

FusionMachine

Fusion Gems[]

The first functionality you can do is fuse two random gems together to make a new one, or specific gems to make new, more powerful versions.

Gems are required to be the same grade to fuse, and also require fusion pieces(FP) in order to perform the action. The fused gem will be the same grade of the two that you used (Ex. Two grade 4s will combine into a new grade 4).

There are 3 drop-downs - the first two are the gems in your inventory. The first one is ordered bottom to top while the second is top to bottom, with the first gem in each selected by default. The third drop down will display all your fusion piece stacks with how much you have.

Selecting two different gems will have a message appear right above "Create Fusion Pieces"

  • Gems Same Type: You need to use two different gems.
  • Gems Different Grade: Gem grades must be the same.
  • Not enough Fusion Pieces: Not enough material, X required where "X" is how much it costs.
  • Gems same grade / different types:
    • Option 1: "Result, random gem" with the FP required to do this action.
    • Option 2: "Result: [new gem name]" with the FP required to do this action.

Many gems require two gems in order to make, called Fusion Gems. While there are other ways of obtaining such gems, this is the primarily method. FP costs are low for grades 1-4, normal for grade 5 , and high for grades 6-9, with varying degrees of cost depending on the power level of the gem. Making a bloodstone for example requires much more FP than creating an Opal for example.

Note: Pebbles cannot be fused. Vampires have a 2.5% chance to instantly upgrade a Blood Tourmaline or Blood Ruby into a Bloodstone.

Random Fusion[]

Here is the full list of random gems you can receive if you randomly fuse two gems together:

Random Result Pool
Amber Emerald Ruby Pearl
Garnet Opal Iolite Moonstone
Bloodrock Corundum Dragon Fang Demon Fang
Frozen Tear Diamond Atmashidade Jade
Jasper Azurite Howlite Hiddenite
Sapphire Sunstone Aquamarine N/A

Note: There is a 20% chance upon rolling a Bloodrock, Dragon Fang, or Demon Fang that it is re-rolled again.

Creating Fusion Pieces[]

You can destroy Gems and Gear here to gain fusion pieces(FP), with various restrictions based on your level range (this information is displayed in Battle Info). Gems, by themselves, do not provide very much FP at all, although you can increase it by upgrading your Estate. Gear cannot be destroyed for fusion pieces if it is equipped or contains gems, however.

There is some randomness involved for what you get however. When an item is selected, it will calculate the FP you will get, and then randomizes that number up to 4x higher.

For gems, this is the FP table ((E) is if your estate building Alchemy Lab is maxed):

Grade FP FP (E)
1 1-4 3-12
2 2-8 4-16
3 3-12 6-24
4 4-16 8-32
5 5-20 11-44
6 6-24 13-52
7 7-28 16-64
8 9-36 19-76
9 10-40 23-92

Additional Information: If you are R1+, you have full access to everything immediately. Additionally, pebbles cannot be destroyed for FP.

For shadows, this is how much FP you will receive (note, ancestral gear I-VII and godly gear II-XI are not accessible in the game):

Mass Create Fusion Pieces[]

This option does the same as the Create Fusion Pieces option, but purges your whole inventory, with the given parameters for the same amount of FP you'd receive.

  • Gem Grade X: This will destroy all grade X gems, where X is the grade number.
    • Example: Grade 8 gems option will only remove grade 8s from your inventory..
  • ALL Gem Grades (X - X): This will destroy all gems between the range given, represented by the X's.
    • Example: ALL Gem Grades (1 - 8) will destroy all gems in your inventory except grade 9s (Grade 9s cannot be mass-smashed at all).
  • Shadow/Mythics (X - X): This will destroy all shadows and mythic gear (that contains no gems) between the range given, represented by the X's.
    • Example: Shadow/Mythics I-V will destroy all shadows and mythic gear that contains no gems, is not equipped, and is any of the I, II, III, IV, or V tiers.
  • All of the Above (X - X) (X - X): This will do the above two options combined, within the same parameters.
    • Example: All of the Above (1 - 8) (I-V) will destroy all gems except grade 9 and all shadow/mythic gear that has no gems, isn't equipped, and is tier I, II, III, IV, or V.

Mass-Smash Algorithm[]

Smashing items one by one does not have any limitations for gear, but the mass-smash option does. As above, it was explained that there are parameters in place that targets the range of gems and gear you can smash. These restrictions are in place to help reduce the chance of players destroying items they weren't meant to - this is also why mass-smash options include two warning screens to confirm your action.

Gem breakdown to display in both options (grade 9 cannot be mass-smashed):
